DissoClean Mark I<br />
Dissolution vessel clean-up is tedious and time consuming but one th<strong>at</strong> is crucial for quality<br />
control and drug formul<strong>at</strong>ion. With the DissoClean Mark I all vessels are washed in-place so<br />
there is no need to remove them from the dissolution tester, transport them to the sink for<br />
washing and then reposition them. As a result productivity and efficiency in the labor<strong>at</strong>ory<br />
are gre<strong>at</strong>ly increased. In place washing also minimizes vessel breakage and subsequent<br />
re-calibr<strong>at</strong>ion thus further improving cost performance.<br />
“Wh<strong>at</strong> makes the DissoClean Mark I a cut above<br />
the competition is its washing speed, compact<br />
size, affordability, powerful cleaning<br />

washing nozzle into the vessel, turns on the<br />
switch and presses the electronically controlled<br />
wash cycle button once for autom<strong>at</strong>ic wash and<br />
drain. A high pressure diaphragm pump exerts<br />
pressure through str<strong>at</strong>egically placed nozzle jet<br />
ports to provide optimum, 360 degree wash<br />
quality. Even stubborn surfactants are easily<br />
washed away. And all in just 4 minutes”, said<br />

The failure to sufficiently purge contamin<strong>at</strong>es from the inner surface of vessels can result in<br />
dissolution test failure which may lead to product recall or <strong>at</strong> best redoing the dissolution test.<br />
The DissoClean Mark I helps labor<strong>at</strong>ory technicians ensure th<strong>at</strong> this does not happen.<br />
InterCycloneMixer<br />
Wh<strong>at</strong> is it?<br />
InterCycloneMixer(p<strong>at</strong>ent pending) is the dynamic mixing oper<strong>at</strong>ion resulting from ‘cyclonic’<br />
and centrifugal forces formed when the InterCycloneMixer head is rot<strong>at</strong>ed.<br />
How does it work?<br />
When the partially enclosed InterCycloneMixer head rot<strong>at</strong>es:<br />
1. A “cyclone” is gener<strong>at</strong>ed <strong>at</strong> the center of the enclosed space in the mixer head by the<br />
rear surface of fins th<strong>at</strong> are disposed inwardly <strong>at</strong> widows formed in the side of the head.<br />
2. A strong suction is thus cre<strong>at</strong>ed which draws in liquid through perpendicular suction<br />
ports loc<strong>at</strong>ed in the upper and/or lower surfaces of the InterCycloneMixer head.<br />
3. At the same time, the front surfaces of the fins radially expel the drawn in liquid out<br />
through the head windows by centrifugal force. This continuous cycle of suction and<br />
expulsion ensures a fast and homogeneous mixing oper<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />
4. The strong acceler<strong>at</strong>ion gener<strong>at</strong>ed by the above, though quiet, is so robust th<strong>at</strong> liquid in<br />
all corners of a container is reached and drawn into the mixing cycle.<br />
