Cultural Awareness Club: Advisor TBA The Cultural Awareness Club was created in l990 by a group of students who wanted to generate a better understanding and awareness of the school's multicultural and diverse student body. Club activities include: 1) bi-monthly meetings to exchange cultural ideas, 2) emotional and academic support for newly arrived students, 3) international food festivals, 4) participation in conferences sponsored by the Student Alliance Against Racism and Violence. All Braintree High School students are welcome. Ability to speak a foreign language is helpful, but not required. Competition includes weekend travel to regional high schools and national tournaments. This is a yearlong program.
