Work Method Statements must include: • the nature of the high-risk activity; • the name of the contractor/s and ABN (if one available); • the specific proposed control measures; • how the activity will be performed; • how the effectiveness of the control measures will be monitored and reviewed; • any prescribed occupation requirements. For demolition and asbestos material removal: • include prescribed activity certificate number, specific control measures, training and supervision arrangements. Low risk activities - A risk assessment will be conducted by contractors to determine the risk associated with the work/project. If it is determined that the risk is low, self-employed contractors are not required to submit a safety plan, however, they are required to abide to all relevant legislation and CQUniversity policies.
