NexStar by Auto Crane uses new advanced control technology to produce
the first truly proportional truck mounted crane control. It means that for the
first time the operator can control the crane functions simultaneously and
proportionally fully independent of each other. So you can ramp up or ramp down
while lifting the load or rotating the boom. The multi-speed control provides the operator
with the ability to proportionally operate the crane with 100% power at 4 different speed
settings. This gives the operator un-matched control to precisely and effortlessly place

The NexStar by Auto Crane is made up of three individual
integrated systems. The transmitter, receiver and hydraulic
valve bank each play an integral part to make the NexStar
crane control system truly proportional.
On board Emergency stop is
included as a safety interface.

The NexStar Transmitter
The NexStar system gives the crane operator,
for the first time, the ability to operate multiple
crane functions simultaneously and with totally
proportional control; fully independent of each
other. You are no longer limited to just one
function at a time. You can boom out, rotate
the crane, and move the hook up and down all
at the same time; improving load movement,
placement, and job safety.

The feature rich NexStar system offers many

three major components, there is a series of
built in transducers and sensors that provide
the ultimate in safe crane operation. Dual axis
sensors on the truck provide feedback if the
vehicle is located in an unlevel position. A
crane status indicator light provides a warning
if the vehicle is not level.

The NexStar Receiver
Another industry first. The receiver includes a
LCD display screen that provides feedback to the
operator on the overall operation of the crane. The
display shows the status of the crane in general
and in the event of some malfunction, error
messages are displayed, pinpointing the trouble
spot. This receiver also controls all functions of
the total system including outputs to the hydraulic
valve bank. This insures repeatable and constant
performance at all temperatures and loads.
The NexStar Hydraulic System
Through its unique valve bank NexStar is designed so
that individual crane functions operate in parallel, giving
each function the ability to operate independently. This
means that the operator has the ability to boom out or
rotate the boom and make a lift at the same time. The
hydraulic coils are fully sealed and designed to operate
in the harshest environments. Plus the NexStar hydraulic
system reduces system back pressure preventing the
buildup of waste heat that could affect the performance.
As standard, a 10 micron filter is used to insure high
performance and trouble free operation, addressing the
most prominent cause of hydraulic system malfunctions.
