In Chingwena village, it is alleged that J, a<br />

Zanu PF member, was assaulted by other<br />

Zanu PF members, NT and AP, who<br />

accused him of being a ‘sell out’ since he<br />

has relatives in the Diaspora.<br />

17 June 2007<br />

At Vhombozi primary school, it is alleged<br />

that two children aged 9 and 12 were<br />

dismissed from school by two war<br />

veterans, DH and PS. The war veterans<br />

accused their father of being an MDC<br />

activist.<br />

24 June 2007<br />

At Nyamuyaruka shops, it is alleged that<br />

five MDC activists, AM, TM, AH, TN and<br />

PN, were harassed and denied employment<br />

by NC, a Zanu PF member and Recruiting<br />

Officer of Cheetah company for supporting<br />

the opposition party.<br />

Mudzi West<br />

4 June 2007<br />

At Kondo shops, it is alleged that five<br />

MDC members, C, C, M and their wives<br />

were harassed and their properties worth<br />

over forty million dollars taken out of their<br />

houses. The three who are teachers were<br />

accused of supporting the opposition party.<br />

8 June 2007<br />

In Ngorima village, it is alleged that<br />

villagers were harassed and intimidated by<br />

M, a Zanu PF district chairperson. The<br />

villagers were accused of mobilizing other<br />

villagers to join the opposition party MDC.<br />

Church, it is alleged that PM, an MDC<br />

member, was harassed and threatened with<br />

death, for reading the Catholic Bishops’<br />

pastoral letter by B and two other Zanu PF<br />

members.<br />

At Munemo primary school, it is alleged<br />

that GN, an MDC youth, was harassed and<br />

intimidated for not attending Zanu PF<br />

meetings, by two Zanu PF youths, JM and<br />

TK.<br />

At Rupange shops, it is alleged that Mrs.<br />

C, an MDC youth, was assaulted and<br />

accused of charging high prices in her shop<br />

to effect regime change by two war<br />

veterans, JK and PC.<br />

At Murehwa centre, it is alleged that IB, an<br />

MDC youth and a driver of local transport<br />

operators, were harassed and assaulted for<br />

reading a text message on his phone which<br />

was denouncing the president of the ruling<br />

party by C, a Zanu PF member.<br />

At Pakati secondary school, it is alleged<br />

that DK, an MDC member and a teacher<br />

was heavily assaulted by two Zanu PF<br />

members, AM and JM. DK was accused of<br />

being an MDC activist.<br />

11 June 2007<br />

In Musingwini village, it is alleged that<br />

MC, an MDC member, was assaulted by<br />

two Zanu PF members, W and A accused<br />

of mobilizing people to join MDC.<br />

13 June 2007<br />

At Chemapango shops, it is alleged that<br />

OC, an MDC youth, was assaulted by two<br />

Zanu PF youths, ZM and BC, accused of<br />

organizing MDC meetings in the village.<br />

18 June 2007<br />

At Domborembudzi shops, it is alleged<br />

that two MDC members, RC and M,<br />

accused of supporting the opposition party,<br />

were harassed and denied access to buy<br />

cheap fertilizer from the shop.<br />

At Chitate clinic, it is alleged that SB, an<br />

MDC member, was harassed and forced to<br />

take off the MDC t/shirt she was wearing<br />

by SM and twelve other Zanu PF youths.<br />

At Kotwa shops, it is alleged that five<br />

MDC youths T, R, D, M and M were<br />

harassed and assaulted by local councillor<br />

and Zanu PF member M. The youths were<br />

accused of campaigning for the opposition<br />

party.<br />

20 June 2007<br />

At Nyamwanga shops, it is alleged that<br />

four Zanu PF youths, A,T, D and R, were<br />

heavily assaulted by two MDC members,<br />

T and T, who were later arrested, for<br />

wearing Zanu PF T/shirts.<br />

by two Zanu PF members, JT and TC for<br />

being an MDC activist.<br />

At Gumbanjera shops, it is alleged that TC,<br />

an MDC member, was harassed and<br />

assaulted by three Zanu PF youths, IR, MK<br />

and AC for co-ordinating MDC activities<br />

At Chemapango secondary school, it is<br />

alleged that two people, SK and AB, were<br />

harassed, assaulted and forced to attend a<br />

Zanu PF meeting addressed by the local<br />

Member of Parliament, JBM.<br />

Mutoko North<br />

2 June 2007<br />

At Tsiga community hall, it is alleged that<br />

food donated for the elderly ,was looted by<br />

the Zanu PF local Councillor C, who went<br />

on to harass and intimidate the elderly who<br />

include SC, accusing them of supporting<br />

the MDC opposition party.<br />
