Mål<br />

The purpose of Global Entrepreneurial Leadership is to provide engineering<br />

students at NUS and <strong>KTH</strong>, as well as a cadre of Silicon Valley "Young Jedi"<br />

Global Entrepreneurial Leaders, with insights about how to lead an<br />

entrepreneurial organization, and create trust across your network of<br />

stakeholders and supporters.<br />

Kursinnehåll<br />

Through the application of cutting-edge multimedia and distance learning,<br />

participants will be exposed to best-of-class lessons from entrepreneurs and<br />

thought leaders in Sweden, Singapore, Silicon Valley, and selected other<br />

entrepreneurial regions. <strong>KTH</strong> and NUS students will compare the lessons of<br />

Silicon Valley entrepreneurial leaders with those of entrepreneurs and leaders<br />

in their own regions, and develop a personal philosophy and code of conduct<br />

for themselves as the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders. Silicon<br />

Valley "Young Jedi" will develop their skills as global entrepreneurs,<br />

preparing them to more effectively collaborate with entrepreneurs and<br />

members of the Circles of Influence in other innovative regions around the<br />

world. Members of all three learning groups will develop their professional<br />

global networks.<br />

The course will be taught by faculty at Stanford, <strong>KTH</strong>, and NUS, in<br />

collaboration with the Stanford Center for Professional Development.<br />

Students in Sweden will earn academic credit from <strong>KTH</strong>. Students in<br />

Singapore will earn academic credit from National University of Singapore.<br />

All students who successfully complete the course will also receive a<br />

certificate of completion from Stanford Center for Professional Development.<br />

Kursfordringar<br />

The main resources for facilitating the learning are our students, the teachingteam,<br />

and all the entrepreneurial leaders that in one way or another will<br />

participate during the course. For every session there is one topic to be<br />

covered. The topics will be announced prior to the session in order for the<br />

participants to collect and share essential information related to the topic. For<br />

every session there will either be a group or an individual assignment<br />

The participants find their own material for the topic at hand; reading papers<br />

and books, doing interviews, watching movies.<br />

The course will be co-taught with 2G1733.<br />

There will be 30 seats available in this class.<br />
