This course gives an introduction in how to understand both analogue and<br />

digital signal processing algorithms. The steps to mo<strong>del</strong> the implementation<br />

effects, modify and make an algorithm implementable in specific hardware<br />

and software is described<br />

Mål<br />

To give practical and theoretical backgrounds to implement various signal<br />

processing algorithms in resource limited HW and SW solutions.<br />

Kursinnehåll<br />

Analogue and digital filters, AD and DA-converters, DSP algorithms such as<br />

FFT. Analysis of selected algorithms. Algorithm sensitivity to quantization.<br />

Finite wordlength effects, noise and quantization errors. Optimization and<br />

design centering.<br />
