Mål
The course will give you basic knowledge in how to acquire information from
databases, the Internet and with the help of library catalogues. After the course
you should have sufficient knowledge of scientific communication and
methods for information retrieval to allow you to critically evaluate your
needs for information and choose ways to fulfil those needs.
Kursinnehåll
Basic knowledge in your own subject area in a relevant program in a technical
university or the equivalent.
The most common Swedish and English technical terms within your own
subject area.
Fair knowledge in the use of computers.
