4.5.5.3 Description of the COPS Client interface to the QoSB.f<br />

We list now the COPS messages exchanged between the COPS client interface of the ASM and the<br />

QoSB.f, the COPS server.<br />

To open the COPS connection –using ConnectBB()- COPS Client-Open and Client-Accept messages<br />

with no optional cops objects are exchanged. The AAAC server client type is 65283 (in decimal).<br />

To close the COPS connection –using DisconnectBB()- we send a COPS ClientClose Message with no<br />

optional cops objects.<br />

To send the NetServices Description –using the SendNetServicesDesc() function- to the QoSB.f a<br />

REQuest message is sent with optional cops “Client Specific Information Objects”. The format of these<br />

objects (and of the entire REQuest message) is given below. The QoSB.f answers to this message with a<br />

DECission message with no optional COPS objects.<br />
