DESKS DESKS Single and double pedestal desks are available with rectangular, bow top shapes. 36′′ deep desks and bow tops feature a guest side 6′′ overhang; 30′′ deep desks do not feature this overhang. Additional features include a wood modesty or frosted acrylic recessed modesty panel, wire management pedestals and leather inserts, which are available on rectangular or bow top desks. Please see desk section for more information. 5 different curvilinear top shapes, with tapered legs or elliptical bases provide a wide selection of functional and stylish desks. TABLE DESKS Rectangular table desks are available with or without a partial fixed wood modesty panel, or casters. Alternative pedestals, open returns and returns without modesty panels must be specified from the modular section as tops and pedestals. CREDENZAS Curvilinear returns are available in 5 shapes (same as curvilinear desks) with 3 base styles: tapered wood, tapered metal and elliptical base. Additional features include full wood modesty panels (elliptical bases only), partial floating wood, partial floating perforated metallic and partial frosted acrylic modesty panels. Crescent table returns are not stand-alone cases and must be specified with curved corner credenzas. Available with or without a fixed frosted acrylic modesty panel. Single and double pedestal credenzas are only available with full height fixed or hinged modesty panels with a variety of standard pedestal options. Alternative pedestals, open credenzas and credenzas without modesty panels must be specified from the modular section as tops and pedestals. Corner credenzas are available with a variety of pedestal options and with full height fixed or hinged modesty panels. Crescent corner credenzas are not stand-alone cases and must be specified with crescent table returns, to create a Curved Crescent Unit. The credenza is available with a full height fixed or hinged modesty panel. The return is offset from the credenza to allow for a storage cabinet door to open. (Illustration at right, shaded area.) Full-face credenzas are available in a variety of lateral file / bookcase configurations and can be specified with a glass top or glass privacy screen. 2 PIECE ‘U’ CONFIGURATIONS VIRTU 2 piece ‘U’ configurations provide a practical and stylish ‘U’ shaped workspace, without the use of a linking unit. When a ‘P’ curved corner desk is specified in a 2 piece ‘U’, the user clearance between the worksurfaces is 36′′. When a bullet curved corner desk is specified in a 2 piece ‘U’, the user clearance between the worksurfaces is 42′′. The 2 piece configurations require a curved corner desk and a 48′′ corner credenza. These cases cannot be specified as stand-alone and must be combined to create the ‘U’ configuration. The curved corner desk in a 2 piece configuration can be specified as a bullet or ‘P’ top with 3 base styles: tapered wood, tapered metal or elliptical base.
