JORDAN BARIATRIC RECLINERS
URETHANE ARM
This arm option provides comfort,
durability, and enhances infection control.
All Jordan arms are designed to assist
ingress and egress, with any easy-to-grip
shape and size - and a forward height
incline that better supports the sitter’s
movement and body weight as they
move in and out of the seat.
WOOD ARM
Available in a range of finish colors.
All wood components feature Krug’s
anti-microbial finish, which assists in
reducing the spread of infectious germs,
and inhibits fungal spore growth.
WOOD ARM WITH URETHANE CAP
The optional arm cap provides enhanced
durability and protection for the arms.
It is field replaceable if it becomes damaged
or degraded.
UPHOLSTERED ARM
Combination upholstery (more than one
upholstery cover within the same unit)
is an option on all Jordan upholstered
products. Components can be upholstered
individually: seat cushions, back cushions,
arm panels, front panels, back panel.
OTTOMAN
The adjustment lever is situated to allow
both the user (while in the seated position)
and the caregiver (while standing) to
safely operate the ottoman function of
the mechanism. The ottoman features
extra padding to enhance comfort and
circulation for larger, heavier legs.
BACK ADJUSTMENT
Situated to allow both the user (while in
the seated position) and the caregiver
(while standing) to safely operate the
back-recline function, this lever reclines
the back to a position of 128 degrees.
The Bariatric Recliner can optionally be
specified with a back recline to a Sleep/
Lay-Flat position.
SWING AWAY TABLET
The tablet has the ability to slide up and
fold over and rotates 180º. The break
away design allows for the tablet to be
pushed away from the patient quickly in
case of an emergency.
CASTER
Standard on Jordan Recliners are (4)
4” diameter of wheel swivel locking
casters. The caster is locked both
directionally and rotationally, keeping the
recliner secure when locked.

With a seat width of 28.5”, and a weight rating of 500 lbs., the Jordan Bariatric Recliners provide the scale, strength and mobility to accommodate larger
patients and guests. Heavy-duty locking casters enable these patients to be safely moved. The mechanism provides four positions, and an optional (and
additional) lay-flat position can also be specified. Special foam has been used to provide additional support and durability on this product.
Bariatric furniture is subject to very intensive use. Jordan Bariatric Recliners are made with heavy-duty materials and components, but should they become
damaged or degraded, individual components can be replaced (including the mechanism), and the product can be specified with replaceable upholstery covers.
