7-6-8. Recovery method of refrigerant for<br />

RAV-SP404AT-E, RAV-SP404ATZ-E, RAV-SP404ATZG-E<br />

RAV-SP454AT-E, RAV-SP454ATZ-E, RAV-SP454ATZG-E<br />

• When recovering refrigerant in case of reinstallation<br />

of the indoor or outdoor unit, etc., use the<br />

refrigerant recovery switch on the terminal block<br />

of the outdoor unit.<br />

Procedure<br />

1. Set FAN operation to the indoor unit.<br />

2. Push the refrigerant recovery switch (SW802) of<br />

the outdoor unit<br />

(Keep pushing it for approx. 2 seconds.).<br />

The cooling operation starts.<br />

(This operation continues for 10 minutes.)<br />

3. After operation for 3 minutes or more, close the<br />

valve at liquid side.<br />

4. After finish of the refrigerant recovery, close the<br />

valve at gas side.<br />

5. When keeping pushed the refrigerant recovery<br />

SW again for approx. 2 seconds, the outdoor unit<br />

stops.<br />

6. Stop the indoor unit and then turn off the power<br />

supply.<br />

DANGER<br />

Take care for an electric shock because the control<br />

P.C. board is electrified.<br />
