KNX Training Center
(Italy)
After several years of activities with
hundreds of KNX projects in the home
and building segment (flats as well as
schools, offices, museums,...) all over
Italy, ABB SACE has decided to start its
own KNX certified center to spread
KNX knowledge to installers, planners,
engineers, system integrators - involved
in the electrical field. By attending training
courses, customers can achieve the KNX
partner certification and obtain an optimal
mix of theoretical and practical instruments
to propose, plan and commission
a KNX installation in any application field
for residential, commercial or industrial
buildings. To better support promoting
this technology, they also organize conferences
about energy efficiency to underline
the impact of home & building automation
based on KNX to save energy.

(Spain)

Armiti Trading L.L.C.

Armiti is the second training centre in the
Middle East, having more than four years
experience in KNX system integration in
the most important booming construction
area of the world: Dubai. This company
has a long list of commissioned projects
in its references such as hotels, villas, office
buildings etc. On the other hand ,Armiti is
the official partner for the most important
KNX members who are well-known in the
Middle East region such as ABB, Steinel,
WHD and Eelectron. Armiti, with more
than 30 engineers in main and sub offices
in the Middle East, plays a very important
role in the KNX market in the G.C.C. and
Middle East region.

CINEL (Portugal)
CINEL is a training center for electronics
in Portugal. In their facilities in Lisbon
and they teach courses related to the
whole electronics spectrum and IT. In
2001 when they realized that KNX is the
most important technology for building
automation, they started to offer several
training courses with ABB and HAGER
products for the public market. For several
years they offered these courses, showing
their students the basic applications of a
KNX installation. With the development
of KNX, the number of specialized courses
has increased. The required devices for
KNX and KNX+ training were bought,
and in 2009 the instructors started the
process of certification. Today they have
two KNX tutors who will conduct the
KNX basic and advanced courses in Porto
and Lisbon.

GEWISS IBÉRICA
Training Centre (Spain)
The Project CAMPUS GEWISS PROFES-
SIONAL promotes and disseminates a new
dimension in electrical engineering culture
through the teaching of new technologies
and its application in the field of installation.
The courses are taught by qualified trainers
to give a fair contribution of theoretical
and practical content. The content of the
courses is very diverse including a wide
range in the electrical sector, from courses
for training lighting projects to the design of
electrical distribution boards. The training
for Home & Building Automation includes
basic courses of one day to bring students
to these technologies and the training
course to obtain the title of KNX Partner:
courses that are developed with coaches
designed with KNX devices of GEWISS.
