KNX Russia at Interlight Moscow 2010
Interlight Moscow 2010 exhibition
powered by light+building
is the most advanced exhibition
in Russia for lighting technologies,
energy saving solutions
and electrical installations. For
the first time, the Russian KNX
Association participated in the
exhibition.
In parallel to the conference,
KNX Russia organized a workshop
with the title «KNX for
lighting controls and energy
efficiency». Due to the importance,
the welcome-speech of
KNX-event was held by Ms
KNX for lighting controls and energy efficiency Conference
Iris Jeglitza-Moshage (Vice-
President of Messe Frankfurt)
and Mr Eugen Alles (Managing
Director of Messe Frankfurt

RUS). The event was good for
the exchange of experiences
among KNX-experts and the
audience about energy savings
with KNX. As result of the
good results, KNX Russia will
repeat again in 2011!

KNX at the MATELEC 2010 in Madrid
Again, the Spanish KNX association-participated
in the most
important electrotechnical fair
in Madrid. The event takes
place every two years. KNX
Spain and the KNX Association
had a common stand in hall 6,
which was also the location for
the national and international
competition of young professionals.
The ”e-Doceo” project
was also located in this hall. It
showed a faithful reproduction
of different buildings (hotel, office,
shop, home etc.). All three
events were supported with
free advertising materials by
different KNX manufacturers.
Naturally, the new ETS4 was
in the center of attention at the
KNX stand. All KNX partners
visiting the stand were mainly
interested in the software’s
new and improved functions. A
demo screen was used for a live
demonstration of the product’s
numerous advantages. With
the ETS4 action, new Spanish
brochures and the personal
contribution of Casto Cañavate,
the colleagues from Brussels
gave a major input to turn the
fair into a successful event.

expressed their gratitude for
this support.

KNX Sweden Out and About
During 2010, KNX Sweden
participated at many professional
fairs, as for instance
“Nordbygg”, “easyFairs”, “Hem
& Villa” in Stockholm, Göteborg
and Malmö. Besides this,
speeches where held at events
called “Energitinget”, “Kapa
Kilowatten” and as well at Almedalen
in Visby (Gotland). In
addition to this, KNX Sweden
together with EIO recorded a
movie with the theme “Control
and save energy”, which consists
of how one can manage energy
savings with KNX. As usual, the
National Group also announced
Winner of the KNX Sweden Award
the Swedish KNX Award, and
this year the winner was NG
Elektriska from Borås. They
achieved the award for their
project “Centiro” where they
integrated with KNX lighting,
heating, ventilation, blinds, alarm
and multimedia for optimal
energy consumption.
