The 20th Anniversary in Hungary
Following the Worldwide
event organized in October by
many nations, KNX Hungary
also joined the 20th Anniversary
celebration.
The National Group organized
a conference based on KNX,
where it was shown how KNX
has evolved over the past 20
years among other topics as
energy saving possibilities and
solutions with KNX. This 1-day
programme showed a better
overview about KNX to the
audience (electrical designers,
installers, system integrators,
etc).
As result, attendees were impressed
with the international
KNX facts and figures. Moreover,
publishers of electrical
publications, who were present

review of the event for a better
promotion in the country.
Besides this, KNX Hungary
participated at another conference
where presented KNX
solutions for energy savings in
buildings.

In the twentieth anniversary of
the birth of KNX, the 20th October,
KNX Italy held a Forum
dedicated to the „Home and
Building Control -The experience
of KNX in Italy told by the
protagonists”, at the Business
Centre of Grand Hotel Melia in
Milan. 200 participants attended
a lively debate which rose among
leading professionals who have
chosen KNX (builders, architects,
designers, installers, manufacturers);
Once more, it was
proven the continuous success
of the KNX technology as it is
today and it will be in the future.

were also invited to the Forum,
who subsequently spread some
articles devoted to KNX that
have been published in several
media. The celebration was also
the right occasion for KNX Italia
to officially present its “KNX
News” which was dedicated to
the important topic of Energy
Efficiency.

BudShow 2011 - Intelligent House KNX
KNX Poland had a fantastic
start of the year when had
the chance to build up the
so-called automated home
of the future at the Poznan
International Fair. The project
integrated many application
areas such as lighting, heating,
shutter control and more with
KNX. Moreover, in coordination
with KNX Poland, KNX
members represented their
most interesting contribution
of the KNX solutions at their
own stands.
Over 2,000 visitors visited the
project as well as the Polish
KNX stand, During the 4 days
of the event. This event was
also useful for KNX in Poland,
due to the large promotion of
the KNX project by the media
