Double celebration
20 years KNX at the KNX Group in Zagreb
On the particular occasion
of the 20th Anniversary of
KNX, the National Group of
Croatia took the opportunity
to celebrate the opening of the
largest KNX Training Centre
in Zagreb. A great number of
visitors and students led by
prof.Miščević B. Arch. have had
an opportunity to talk to KNX
certified engineers and inquire
about KNX related subjects.
As it is today, the overall interest
of engineers is constantly
increasing and the translation of
the KNX handbook has proven
to be right direction. Moreover,
The increasing presence is
the proof that KNX Standard
is becoming more and more
interesting to the general and
targeted population. As result,
in the near future, KNX Croatia
plans to attract more active
members and professionals.

The First KNX Forum was held successfully in Beijing
The First KNX Forum hosted
by KNX China and TC of Industrial
Process Measurement
and Control of Standardization
Administration of China (SAC/
TC124) was held successfully in
Beijing in October at the year
of 20th anniversary of KNX. It
highlighted that Create Green,
Comfortable and Energy Saving
Environment for Modern City
Life. The wonderful presentations,
interactive FAQs and
demo displays were all attracted
nearly 300 attendees with great
interest. This memorable event

the board members who are
the worldwide leading companies
of ABB, Hager, Schneider
and Siemens and the domestic
companies of GVS and HDL
etc. A day of the activity gave
the opportunity to understand
and communicate each other.

Non-Stop Activities for KNX Finland in 2010
The main focus of KNX Finland
was the education at the
beginning of 2010. Therefore
the Finnish KNX Handbook
was released in January 2010
and 6 delegates became official
KNX Tutors in June. Subsequently,
Tampere Ammattikorkeakoulu
became the first
official KNX-Training Centre
in the country. This KNX TC
has already organized several
courses during fall 2010.
The main event of the year was
„KNX Leaves flight,“ a 20-year
celebration of the feast, which
was held at the Aviation Museum
in Vantaa on 20th October.

Also important seminars were
held at Habitare and Finnbuild
trade shows. Finally, important
to mention as well was Finnish
KNX Award 2010 awarded to
Hendell Oy at the exhibition
in Jyväskylä.
Overall, the 2010 events collected
more than 600 delegates.
