New homepage of KNX-Austria

Just on time for the 20th KNX
anniversary, the KNX National
Group of Austria launched a
newly designed homepage for
consumers: www.knx-austria.
at. Four times a year the subscribers
can receive interesting
and current topics around the
worldwide open standard for
home and building control easy
per e-mail for free. The new
homepage was introduced to
electricians from all over Austria
in this event, at Vienna airport.
Navigation paths are optimized
in terms of graphic display and
content. Therefore relevant
data can be found quickly. In this
way it is even easier to get in-

formation on cost effectiveness,
safety, and comfort in the field
of modern electrical installation.
Additionally, all final users have
the opportunity to subscribe to
the KNX newsletter, where
they can read interesting topics
related to the worldwide
standard for home and building
control. This free of charge e-
newsletter will be released four
times a year.

National Group The Baltics – NEW
Previously announced KNX
National Group Baltics, founded
by KNX members -Embedded
Systems SIA, JUNG and ABBhas
successfully started the
introductory stage. In order
to attract new KNX partners,
thematic presentations about
benefits and advantages of KNX
technology were held to installers,
integrators, investors, as
well as different government and
municipal institutions. Installers
were very interested in becoming
KNX professionals. That
fact encouraged the National
Group to set up the basis for

KNX Training Centres. To meet
the requirements, two active
members of Embedded Systems
SIA and ABB- successfully became
KNX tutors in November
2010. The next step we will
be establishing KNX Training

KNX Belgium at ECL 2010
On 23 – 24 September 2010,
KNX Belgium, together with
the KNX Professionals, was
present at the fifth edition of the
ECL fair in Brussels. KNX Belgium
was present for the second
time. ECL is the meeting place
for the electrical installation
sector and focuses on products
and innovations, and was held
together with the HVAC trade
fair. Besides a KNX booth,
8 members of KNX Belgium
were also present during this
fair, showing their newest KNX
products and innovations, which

made KNX extremely visible on
the fairgrounds. The main focus
was the announcement of the
new engineering tool software
ETS4, 20 years of KNX as well as
showing new member product
innovations and distributing the
first issue of the KNX Belgium
National Journal.
