Maestro -MS3
The industrial-DIN-rail server of BMS is
inconspicuous, but has it all: the processor
is an Intel Atom 1.1 GHz, but has a
power consumption maximum of 5.9 watt.
Therefore the operating costs stay below
10 € a year! The mini has two USB ports,
LAN, WLAN, a monitor port, two GB of
RAM, two GB flash memory which can
be expanded by an additional industrial
mini-SD memory card and communicates
directly to the KNX system via LAN.
Small and wear-free components were
used to ensure a five year warranty. The
BMS-Server works with the embedded
system from Microsoft “WES 2009” and
is offered with 230 V power supply.

Switching, dimming, use of blinds or light
scenes – the functions of the new solo ®
controls are varied. Each rocker, which
is available as a version with 1,2 or 4
controls with color schemes owning two
LEDs, indicate the status of the connected
device. The innovative RGB-LED technology
follows the intuitive color concept
from Busch-Jaeger. For ease of reference,
the push buttons can be provided with
accompanying pictographs. The connection
between switches and KNX-devices
is made in combination with the respective
bus coupler 6120/12-101 and 6120/13.

The MS3 is an extremely powerful and
flexible control center for the KNX system
and an ultimate gateway between
KNX and other systems, as it controls
them using RS232, RS485, IP and IR.
The MS3 is a web and smart phone
server utilizing the same unmatched,
user friendly, Maestro GUI, simplifying
control of home and building systems. It
provides all essential functions: schedule
and macro manager, powerful function
blocks controller, events logger and a
KNXnetIP gateway. The MS3 has 2 integral
RS232/RS485 ports enabling two
way control of external systems such as
multimedia and VRV A/C systems. The
Maestro script language modules enable
writing of complex protocols and energy
management algorithms.

The new generation of the Busch-triton ®
sensors now offers even more features.
A bus coupler and an infrared receiver
are directly integrated. The individual
rocker of the multi-function elements
can be programmed flexibly. Each side
can trigger separate functions; there
are 3 rockers and thus a 6-fold control.
Busch-triton ® is available in different
variants with one, three or five rockers,
with or without RTC function. You can
label each individual button. The subtle
lighting provides orientation. The five
color variants of Busch-triton ® offer an
alternative for any environment.
