Custom File Colors Policy<br />
Paint<br />
Custom paint colors may be applied<br />
to <strong>Knoll</strong> Filing products on a select<br />
basis.<br />
For colors outside the standard<br />
palettes for <strong>Calibre</strong> as identified on<br />
this page, <strong>Knoll</strong> will custom match to<br />
your specification according to the<br />
following requirements.<br />
The request for a custom paint color<br />
must be accompanied by a purchase<br />
order and by a master color-match<br />
sample of paint applied to metal,<br />
having dimensions of at least 3 x5.<br />
<strong>Knoll</strong> will evaluate the sample to<br />
determine application feasibility.<br />
Upon approval for application, <strong>Knoll</strong><br />
will forward two factory samples with<br />
an assigned <strong>Knoll</strong> color name and<br />
code for customer approval. One of<br />
the approved samples must be signed<br />
and returned to <strong>Knoll</strong> before an order<br />
may be placed.<br />
Upon receiving customer approval,<br />
<strong>Knoll</strong> will enter the order.<br />
Custom non-metallic paint finishes<br />
are supported for <strong>Calibre</strong> lateral<br />
files, hybrids, wardrobes and<br />
cabinets with no additional upcharge<br />
to the P1 list price. This excludes<br />
custom metallic and custom white<br />
paints, which will be processed as a<br />
P3 list price. All other <strong>Calibre</strong><br />
product ie., (pedestals, bookcases,<br />
overdesks and deskings) and<br />
Morrison/Series 2 lateral file front<br />
cases will incur a P2 list price for<br />
non-metallic finishes or a P3 list<br />
price for metallic or white finishes.<br />
