• The proposed Eucalyptus saligna (Bluegum) located adjacent <strong>to</strong> the proposed driveway
and eastern site boundary is <strong>to</strong> <strong>be</strong> replaced with a Nyssa sylvatica (Tupelo). The tree is
<strong>to</strong> <strong>be</strong> located so that it is no closer than 3.0m from any structure including the proposed
drainage pit and existing retaining walls.
• The planting adjacent <strong>to</strong> the southern/rear site boundary is <strong>to</strong> <strong>be</strong> supplemented with an
additional three Angophora floribunda (Rough barked apple). The trees are <strong>to</strong> <strong>be</strong>
planted within the proposed garden <strong>be</strong>d areas. A minimum pot size <strong>of</strong> 15 Litre is
required.
• The proposed garden <strong>be</strong>d/planting area adjacent <strong>to</strong> the western site boundary is <strong>to</strong> have
a minimum width <strong>of</strong> 2.0m <strong>to</strong> allow adequate area for the establishment and growth <strong>of</strong>
screen planting and tree replenishment.
46. Canopy and/or root pruning <strong>of</strong> the following tree/s which is necessary <strong>to</strong> accommodate the
approved building works shall <strong>be</strong> undertaken by an experienced and practicing
Arborist/Horticulturist, with a minimum qualification <strong>of</strong> the Horticulture Certificate or Tree
Surgery Certificate:

47. Tree roots <strong>be</strong>tween 10mm and 50mm diameter, severed during excavation, shall <strong>be</strong> cut
cleanly by hand and the tree subsequently treated with a root growth hormone and wetting
agent, by an experienced Arborist/Horticulturist with a minimum qualification <strong>of</strong> the
Horticulture Certificate or Tree Surgery Certificate.
48. No tree roots <strong>of</strong> 50mm or greater in diameter located within the specified radius <strong>of</strong> the trunk/s
<strong>of</strong> the following, tree/s shall <strong>be</strong> severed or injured in the process <strong>of</strong> any site works during the
construction period. Tree num<strong>be</strong>rs refer <strong>to</strong> Tree Survey plan submitted with the development
application.
