(b) Speed governor and oil servomotor relay mechanism. (c) Emergency trip gear mechanism and (d) Extraction pressure regulation system. 3. Study of jet engines: (a) Turbojet. (b) Turbo prop. (c) Turbo fan, and (d) Ram jet and pulse jet. 4. Study of cogeneration system preferably by visit to a plant. 5. Study of high-pressure boilers. Group-II 6. Trial on diesel generating set to determine the following characteristics: (a) Plant efficiency versus load. (b) Total fuel consumption versus load. (c) Rate of energy input versus load, and (d) Heat rate and incremental heat rate versus load. 7. Study and trial on steam power plant to determine the following characteristics: (a) Plant Efficiency, Rankine Efficiencies, versus load. (b) Steam consumption specific steam consumption versus load. (c) Rate of energy input versus load, and
