telescoping handle and wheels were added to facilitate 

movement of the kit. Kipper Tool Company developed 

the tool sets to meet those requirements and obtained 

the NSNs. For ease of acquisition, KTC provides the

available to units at a time when the pace of deployment 

has greatly accelerated. Time and again these kits have 

proven that the utilization of their state-of-the-art tools

Kipper Tool Power Hawk Rescue Systems 

Today’s battlefield is faster, more strategically armored and more lethal than 

ever before. In response, Kipper Tool Company and Power Hawk have teamed up to 

provide a collection of standard Tactical Rescue and Casualty Evacuation (TRACE) 

systems engineered to meet today’s high paced training and battlegrounds. 

Accidents and assaults on our modernized vehicles result in countless Coalition 

force casualties. Unfortunately deaths occur due to serviceman and civilians being 

caught inside the vehicles after a roll over or assault. In some cases, damage makes 

it virtually impossible for a person to open the doors in an MRAP, or basic armored 

vehicle that has hydraulic doors, without extraction equipment. 

With this in mind, we have worked hard to design the TRACE systems to aggressively 

meet those needs and save lives. With these systems Coalition forces will be 

capable of removing doors and hatches quickly, safely, and effectively in emergency 

situations. The TRACE systems greatly increase survivability rates in damaged vehicle 

emergencies. 

Each of the TRACE systems has been designed to meet various Military and civil
