F-1 Resignations<br />

Approve the following resignations:<br />

Andrea Guerriero, teacher, effective 7-2-12<br />

Debra Jones, childcare aide, effective 7-31-12<br />

Erin Mahan, administrative assistant, effective 7-18-12<br />

Tyler Miller, assistant athletic director, effective 7-31-12<br />

F-2 One Year Limited Contract – Ryan Frambes<br />

Approve a one year limited contract for Ryan Frambes, as Assistant Athletic<br />

Director, effective 8-20-12. Ryan will be employed half-time, working 184 days per<br />

year at a rate of pay of $10,660.00 per year. Employment is contingent upon<br />

satisfactory completion of paperwork.<br />

F-3 Correction in Pay – Cindy Hayden – SMOY Nurse<br />

Approve correction in pay for Cindy Hayden, SMOY Nurse, from the bachelor’s<br />

column of the salary schedule to the bachelor’s +150 column, effective 8-20-12.<br />

F-4 Increase in Hours – Alisha Tschuor<br />

Approve an increase in hours for Alisha Tschuor to include 3.75 hours each day on<br />

Tuesday and Thursday of each week, as a preschool teacher, effective 8-20-12.<br />

F-5 Reassignment – Kelly McKiernan<br />

Approve the reassignment of Kelly McKiernan from Data Specialist to Media Aide,<br />

effective 8-17-12. Kelly will be on step 10 of the salary schedule.<br />

F-6 Summer Only Intervention Teacher – Megan Blazek<br />

Approve Megan Blazek as summer only intervention teacher effective 7-30-12 thru<br />

8-10-12. She will be paid at rate of $22.00 per hour, not to exceed 47 hours.<br />

F-7 Summer School Coordinator – Ron Corradini<br />

Approve Ron Corradini as Summer School Coordinator, effective 5-7-12 thru 6-25-<br />

12. Ron will be paid a rate of $22.00 per hour for a total of 47 hours ($1034.00).<br />

These hours include all preparation for classes offered, enrollment and supervision<br />

of staff. This payment is covered by summer school fees and is at no cost to the<br />

district.<br />

F-8 Stipends<br />

Approve the following stipends for Cooperating Teachers for the 2 nd semester of the<br />

2011-2012 school year.<br />

Approve the attached release and separation agreement for Jane Schnee effective 6-<br />

Approve maternity leave for Emily Cowan, effective 6-27-12 thru approximately 10-<br />

1-12, or until released from her physician’s care.<br />

G-1 Body Mass Index Waiver<br />

Approve the Body Mass Index (BMI) Waiver.<br />

G-2 Interdistrict Open Enrollment<br />

Approve interdistrict open enrollment for the 2012-2013 school year. This open<br />

enrollment approval is open to all Ohio school districts. Preference will be given to<br />

resident students and to children of <strong>King</strong>s Local School District employees. <strong>King</strong>s<br />

Local School District will observe all ORC rules and regulations. District limit will<br />

be 70 students for the 2012-2013 school year.<br />

G-3 Appropriations<br />

Approve the attached appropriations resolution for 2012/13.<br />

G-4 Donations<br />

Accept the following donations:<br />

G-6 Accumulated Leave Retirement Plan<br />

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Effective July 18, 2012, the Board of Education of <strong>King</strong>s Local<br />

School District (the “Board”) shall establish a defined contribution plan intended to meet<br />

the qualification requirements of Section 403(b) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as<br />

amended, and the requirements of state and/or local law, and the plan, as adopted by the<br />

Board, shall be known as the <strong>King</strong>s Local School District Employer 403b Plan.<br />

G-7 Administrative Procedural Manual<br />

Approve changes to the District’s Administrative Procedural Manual as attached.<br />

G-8 Auditor of State Contract<br />

Approve contracting with the Auditor of State of Ohio for work to be performed in<br />

converting the District’s cash records to those in accordance with Generally Accepted<br />

Accounting Principles (GAAP) for an amount not to exceed $8,000.00.<br />

G-9 Confirming Purchase<br />

Approve a confirming purchase for nursing services provided by the Warren County<br />

Educational Service Center in the amount of $18,080.00.<br />

G-10 OSBA Capital Conference Delegate and Alternate<br />

Appoint a Delegate and Alternate to the Annual OSBA Capital Conference.<br />
