This will be signalled by six, rapid 5 second blasts on air horns. Anyone not teaching should remain where they are and await further instructions. The SMT should telephone the Headmistress or her Secretary.. Emergency Reception Areas. These may be required for the reception of pupils, parents and / or the media. FIRE EXIT ROUTES MAIN BUILDING Hall Out by one of the clearly marked exits (four downstairs & two upstairs). N.B. The central side door downstairs (leading direct to Butts Corridor) is not a fire exit. Exit routes are clearly signed leading to the Butts door, directly onto The Butts, Red House Lawn and Lab7 corridor Cottage Offices, including Sick Room and Careers Library Along Butts corridor to Butts door. Walk along The Butts to the tunnel entrance to the main playground. Landor House (Ground and First Floors) Down main staircase and out of the front door. Up The Butts to the tunnel entrance to upper playground Landor House (Top Floor Music Rooms) Down fire escape to garden, then via dining room to Chapel Street entering Library gate and keep right up steps to upper playground Dining Room Out to Chapel Street and up to Library gate. Keep right up steps to upper playground Rooms 1 and 2 Turn right out of room and along Butts Corridor to Butts door. Up The Butts to the tunnel entrance to main playground Rooms 3 and 4 Leave building via the Dining Room door into Chapel Street. Through Library gate and keep right up steps to the upper playground Room 5, Room 6, Lab 7 and Room 8 Turn left out of classroom, through the Tomlinson foyer and keep left up steps to the upper playground Library Out through fire exit and up steps to main playground, keeping on the right Eastgate E3 and Drama Store Rooms use Hall staircase Straight down stairs to The Butts door.
