In certain circumstances it may be necessary to keep pupils in classrooms. This will<br />
be signalled by six, rapid 5 second blasts on air horns. Anyone not teaching should<br />
remain where they are and await further instructions. The SMT should telephone the<br />
Headmistress or her Secretary..<br />
Emergency Reception Areas.<br />
These may be required for the reception of pupils, parents and / or the media. The<br />
following areas have been designated:<br />
Hall<br />
Octagon<br />
Gym<br />
The Studio<br />
Sixth Form Centre Common Room<br />
It may also be necessary to identify an area as an emergency services incident<br />
room:<br />
