K. <strong>Hovnanian</strong> Children’s <strong>Hospital</strong> is gr<strong>at</strong>eful for the generosity of the community th<strong>at</strong> provides<br />

supplies for our playrooms. Don<strong>at</strong>ions, including new toys, books and craft m<strong>at</strong>erials, are used<br />

throughout the year <strong>at</strong> K. <strong>Hovnanian</strong> Children’s <strong>Hospital</strong>. They are used by therapists as part of<br />

a p<strong>at</strong>ient’s tre<strong>at</strong>ment plan and to comfort and entertain a child during his or her hospital visit.<br />

Don<strong>at</strong>ions also allow the p<strong>at</strong>ients to select a gift following the completion of a procedure or to<br />

celebr<strong>at</strong>e a significant event such as a birthday, holiday, or the end of tre<strong>at</strong>ment. Please call 732-<br />

776-4626 or 732-776-2541 to arrange a day/time to deliver your don<strong>at</strong>ion to the K. <strong>Hovnanian</strong><br />

Help keep our Treasure Chest full. The treasure Chest is used when a child has<br />

undergone any type of procedure of test. Its purpose is to reward the child for getting<br />

through the procedure. Suggestions for smaller toys for p<strong>at</strong>ients ages 2-18 include:<br />

action figures, new books, hand-held electronic games, small games or puzzles,<br />

M<strong>at</strong>chbox cards, dolls, Barbie dolls, new stuffed animals, beanie babies, etc.<br />
