Following the ad vice of the Honontry Architect, ( Mt·. E. Healey)
some small repairs to gutters etc., were CtLtTied out.

seen in the building during the year. 'l'he Council have decided to
bring the town Wtttel' supply into the premises but it vvas estimated
that the cost of the sanitary instttllation provided for in the original
phtnR would be '-l'cs. 88G. This wrtf:l thought to be beyond the Society\;

deputed to submit
a more economical scheme.
Owing to an unusually dry season tlw ttpprmteh roads gtwc little
trouble this year. 'l'he neighbouring laml-owuer on the Ronth ol' the
Society's property was tLpproachecl with n, view to co-opertttion iu
Recnring the land required to obtain direct accesf:l to Lite Pakmun
road but this object l1as not yet been achieved.

'Chis club, ou its dissolution, nmde tt gift of its funds, awuuntiug to
'l'es. 280 to the Society with rt recommendation " that the Siam
Society fonn tt Section for the eueouragement of Art and /or Photogmphy
iu Siam wheu they think the time if:l more opportune." 'l'he
Council in gratefully acknowledging this gift accepted the Club's
recommendation in principle. The money bas been added to the Hlllll
kept on tixecl deposit.

·'l'he accounts cnll for little comment this year as the income of the
Society was well iuaintained and the expenditure closely followed
that of a normal year. 'l'he l'evenue from the sale of Cmib's Flora,
was particularly satisfactory aud more than covered the cost ·of
printing the new pru·t if:lsuecl clnring the year.
