This is a sample of the “Evaluation Form for Proposed<br />
<strong>Adventurer</strong> <strong>Awards</strong>.” A reproducible copy can be found<br />
in the “<strong>Awards</strong>” section of the Appendix.<br />
Those wishing to submit a proposal for a<br />
new NAD <strong>Adventurer</strong> Award must follow<br />
the steps listed below:<br />
1. Compile the following materials for<br />
the proposed Award:<br />
a. Name of the Award<br />
b. Sample design of the Award<br />
patch<br />
c. Statement as to the purpose or<br />
need for the Award (what benefit<br />
should the <strong>Adventurer</strong> receive<br />
physically, mentally, and<br />
spiritually?)<br />
d. Award requirements<br />
e. Answers (or descriptions) for the<br />
requirements<br />
f. List of resource materials<br />
2. Two <strong>Adventurer</strong> groups must “test<br />
pilot” the proposed Award. Each<br />
<strong>Adventurer</strong> group must be in a separate<br />
conference. (Contact your conference<br />
<strong>Adventurer</strong> Director for contacts<br />
in other conferences.)<br />
3. Each group must send a letter of<br />
recommendation to the conference<br />
<strong>Adventurer</strong> Director of the conference<br />
originating the Award. The letter must<br />
include a completed evaluation form.<br />
The conference <strong>Adventurer</strong> Director will<br />
send the proposal, letters of recommendation,<br />
evaluation forms, and a personal letter<br />
of recommendation to the NAD <strong>Adventurer</strong><br />
Director.<br />
