Graduate Programs / 47 Grade Requirements Students who possess an overall minimum WAG of 92 are granted acceptance into this program. Students with a WAG below 92 may be considered on an individual basis. The degree-granting department will determine acceptance. Other Requirements Both part-time and full-time MS students may qualify for this program; This program is only available to students who will receive (or have received) a Kettering bachelor's degree; and students must formally apply to the program. James Benford, Jr., Chief Room 5-700 CC, 810-762-9899 jbenford@kettering.edu Kettering University Campus Safety is on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year providing around-the-clock protection and services to the campus community. The department is staffed by seventeen people. Campus Safety Officers do not make arrests. The following services are provided by Kettering’s Safety Staff: • Crime prevention • Investigate complaints and crimes • Central headquarters in event of an emergency • General patrol of the Kettering campus • Information and central communication center • Security of buildings • Check for safety and fire hazards • Register student and employee vehicles • Routine check of all fire prevention equipment on campus • Lost and found • Identification of your valuables • An escort service to the parking area for a student or employee leaving a campus building alone at night • When a number of similar crimes occur on campus, Campus Safety posts a “Campus Watch” around the buildings calling attention to the crimes, a description of the perpetrator, advice on how to avoid becoming a victim, and the telephone number to call in case you observe suspicious activity. • A monthly summary of campus safety activity is published in the Technician. • Enforce parking regulations As an added measure of security, two Flint Police Officers patrol the campus and the surrounding neighborhood.
