The AIM Program is a five week residential program designed to assist students of color in making a successful
transition from high school to college by providing:
• An opportunity to gain real life experiences as Kettering students, prior to college admission.
• Further development in math, chemistry, computers, economics, and business prior to enrollment in college.
• Career information and exploration experiences to help focus and make career decisions.
ELIGIBILITY - Students of color presently in the 11th grade are eligible to apply. Participants must have a minimum
3.0 GPA in high school English, math, and science courses which should include two years of English, two
years of algebra and one year of chemistry with lab.
COST - Kettering University and its corporate sponsors, as well as private donations, provide support to cover
tuition, room & board, books and supplies.
