NOTIFICATION
The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable on the basis of the
result of the Objective Type (OMR Valuation) Test held on 17.05.2008 and the Practical Test in
Driving held from 07.06.2010 to 10.06.2010 for the post of DRIVER GRADE II (LDV) on
Rs.3050-5230 - Direct Recruitment (Category No.32/2007) and Recruitment By Transfer
(Category No.33/2007) in VARIOUS Departments in Kasaragod District arranged in the
order of merit. The Ranked List is brought in to force with effect from 11.01.2011.
The Ranked List will be in force till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry
of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of 3 years which ever is earlier. Candidates
will be advised for appointment in the ratio 1:3 from by transfer and direct recruitment against
the vacancies reported during the currency of the lists. In the absence of suitable candidates for
appointment by promotion/transfer, the vacancy will be filled up by Direct Recruitment.
Candidates will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and order regarding
reservations and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable against vacancies
reported to the Commission during the pendency of this list. As the advice for appointment
depends on the occurrence of vacancies, there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the
List will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in the List at the time of cancellation
will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the List.
According to the existing procedure, re-valuation of answer scripts is not allowed. But
answer scripts will be re-checked, if the candidates apply for rechecking remitting the
prescribed fee of Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only) in any one of the Treasuries in the state under the
head of account ``0051 PSC- 105 State P S C - 99 – Examination fee.`` Application for rechecking
of Answer Scripts should be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost
from the Enquiry Sections of the various offices of the Commission or its Photocopy or downloaded
and printed in A4 size paper from the Commission’s Website www.keralapsc.org or
photocopied therefrom. The original chalan receipt for the prescribed fee should be produced
with the application for re-checking.
Valid applications for re-checking addressed to the District Officer, KPSC District
Office, ‘Tiger Hills’, Pulikkunnu, Municipal Office Road, Kasaragod 671121 should reach this
office within 45 days from the date of Ranked List. Applications for re-checking received after
the prescribed time limit or not in the prescribed form will not be entertained Applications for
re-checking of invalidated script will not be considered. The fee once remitted will not be
refunded

In the case of candidates who send applications for rechecking in the prescribed form
within the prescribed time limit enclosing original chalan receipt as stated above, the marks
awarded will be rechecked and the result of the rechecking will be intimated to the candidates
from this office.
Candidates who require Photo Copy of their OMR answer sheets shall remit a fee of
Rs.200/- by way of chalan in any one of the treasuries in the state under the Head of Account
0051-PSC-800-State PSC – 99 – Other receipts. The duly filled up application in the prescribed
form (available from the commission’s website www.keralapsc.org) along with original chalan
should be submitted to the District Officer, KPSC District Office, Kasaragod within 45 days
from the date of publication of the Ranked List. Copy of the Answer Sheet will be issued only
once to a candidate. Copies of OMR Sheet invalidated due to any defect will not be issued.
Candidates are prohibited from applying for copy of Answer Sheet not of their own, and legal
proceedings will be initiated against those who violate this condition.
Valid applications for Re-checking/obtaining the photo copy of answer script addressed
to the District Officer, KPSC District Office, ‘Tiger Hills’, Pulikkunnu, Municipal Office Road,
Kasaragod 671121 shall reach this office within 45 days from the date on which the Ranked
List has come in to force. The last date fixed for receipt of application for rechecking/obtaining
photo copy, of the answer script is 24.02.2011. Applications for re-checking/obtaining photo
copy, received after the prescribed time limit will not be entertained. The fee once remitted will
not be refunded.
Entries in Column 04 are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their
application forms and proved by them with necessary documents. The candidates whose
communities have not been correctly noted in the list as proved by them in their application
should intimate the fact to the District Officer, KPSC District Office, ‘Tiger Hills’, Pulikkunnu,
Municipal Office Road, Kasaragod within one month from the date of publication of this list to
get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to. In the absence of timely information
regarding discrepancies if any, the candidates will be advised as incorporated in the list.
