1. <strong>The</strong> articulation criteria are:<br />

a. Completion of a state approved College Tech Prep Program.<br />

b. Achievement of “B” or better <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> High School College Tech Prep Program.<br />

c. Completion of Kent State University admission process with<strong>in</strong> 15 months of High School graduation.<br />

d. Completion of Kent College Tech Prep Articulated Credit Process.<br />

2. <strong>The</strong> articulation benefits are:<br />

a. Facilitates articulation of courses between <strong>the</strong> High School, Information Technology Multi Media, and<br />

Kent State, Associate of Applied Bus<strong>in</strong>ess <strong>in</strong> Computer Technology, Internet and Multimedia<br />

Concentration.<br />

b. Motivates students to pursue postsecondary education as a result of obta<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g college credit.<br />

c. Ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong>s ongo<strong>in</strong>g communication between high school teachers and college faculty to <strong>in</strong>sure<br />

alignment of curricula.<br />

d. Benefits Nor<strong>the</strong>ast Ohio by <strong>in</strong>fus<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> job market with graduates who have <strong>the</strong> skills needed to<br />
