<strong>Keble</strong> <strong>College</strong>: <strong>The</strong> <strong>Record</strong> <strong>2009</strong><br />
the <strong>College</strong>’s approach to the challenges posed by the economic<br />
slowdown.<br />
Bob Burgess (1949), long-time former organizer <strong>of</strong> the London<br />
Dinner and loyal supporter <strong>of</strong> the <strong>College</strong> and the Association,<br />
toasted the junior members. Philipp Riede, President <strong>of</strong> the<br />
MCR, responded with a lively report on student life over the<br />
past year, including the arts and <strong>Keble</strong>’s sporting highs and<br />
lows.<br />
Following the speeches, guests mingled at the bar and admired<br />
the stately surroundings <strong>of</strong> the Great Subscription Room.<br />
<strong>The</strong> 2010 London Dinner is expected to be held on the last<br />
Friday <strong>of</strong> January 2010. An application form will accompany<br />
this issue <strong>of</strong> <strong>The</strong> <strong>Record</strong> and, nearer the date, will also appear<br />
on the <strong>College</strong> (www.keble.ox.ac.uk) and <strong>Keble</strong> Association<br />
