A. 60.35 The Bank of New York ADR Department 5.48 Of the Bank’s total share capital, i.e. CZK 19,004,926,000 (38,009,852 shares with a nominal value of CZK 500 each), Société Générale S. A. holds 60.35%. The Bank of New York ADR Department is, with the permission of the Czech National Bank, the holder of those shares for which Global Depository Receipts (GDRs) were issued and which are in the possession of a significant number of foreign investors. The shares in the administration of The Bank of New York ADR Department make up 5.48% of the Bank’s share capital. At the end of 2003, the number of shareholders comprised 48,405 corporate entities and private individuals. Shareholders approved the financial statements of the Bank for 2002, resolved to distribute the profit for 2002 in the amount of CZK 9,229 million and resolved to pay out a dividend of CZK 40.00 before tax per share.
