action. Utilizing long wooden keys, this action recreates both
the weight and movement of our grand piano actions. The AWA
PROII action delivers an amazingly authentic piano feel that
will satisfy even the most discerning pianist.
Exceptional Sound
The key to the CE220's exceptional sound is Kawai's acclaimed
Progressive Harmonic Imaging technology with 88-key piano
sampling. Relying on an expanded tonal “database”, PHI is
capable of recreating the rich, vibrant sound of our 9-foot EX
Concert Grand Piano. Plus, with 88-key sampling, each key's
unique tonal characteristics are preserved. Thanks to this
revolutionary technology, the CE220 contains a remarkable
recreation of not only our concert grand piano, but many other
popular instrument sounds as well.
Powerful Features
The Kawai CE220 digital piano is packed with dozens of terrific
features. For starters, any two sounds can be played together
in a layered or split keyboard mode. A built-in Metronome
teaches a steady sense of rhythm while two headphone jacks
provide for silent practice.
USB to Device functionality lets you play and record MIDI files
using a USB memory stick. Virtual Voicing and Brilliance
controls allow you to mold the sound to your personal taste,
while User Touch can tailor the keyboard's "feel" to your unique
playing style. There's even built-in prerecorded classical Piano
Music (with songbook) for your listening and learning
pleasure.
