Welcome!<br />
Welcome to Crossroads Community Hospital. We hope that your clinical experience here will be<br />
rewarding and beneficial to your education in Radiologic Technology. The information we have<br />
included in this packet should help you adjust to the procedures and routines in our facility. If you have<br />
any problems or questions please feel free to talk to us. Good Luck.<br />
DIRECTIONS<br />
From IL-64 take exit 95 toward Mt. Vernon/Ashley. Turn Left onto IL-15 E/Broadway St. After a mile<br />
turn right onto Crossroads Pl. Follow the road to the <strong>hospital</strong>, and follow signs to employee parking.<br />

PARKING<br />
Students are asked to park in the ER parking area. You are asked not to park in those areas designated<br />
for medical staff, patients, or visitors. Students can also park in the parking lot behind the <strong>hospital</strong><br />
designated as employee parking.<br />
DRESS CODE<br />
All Kaskaskia College Radiology Students must wear navy blue scrubs with a Radiology Program emblem<br />
on the upper left hand of the scrub top. White or black tennis shoes or white, navy, or black crocs must be<br />
worn according to <strong>hospital</strong> policy.<br />
HOURS
Students are asked to be at the <strong>hospital</strong> from 7:30 to 3:30.<br />
ASSIGNED ROOM AREAS<br />
Student room assignments are posted in the office. Please stay with the technologist you are assigned to.<br />
LUNCH SCHEDULE<br />
A thirty minute lunch break is given. The cafeteria and vending machines are available daily. You are<br />
allowed to go out if you wish.<br />
DEPARTMENT POLICIES<br />
INCIDENT REPORTS<br />
If a patient or you are hurt in an incident, a Risk Identification Report should be filled out.<br />
