Following role models is not their thing. Today's generation of designers is more often influenced by
their own world of experience and personal gut feeling than by knowledge of art history. The power
of the tangible is their main source of inspiration. If anyone does come close to existing styles, then it
happens unconsciously.
Andy War...
who?
Highly unconventional creative ideas emerge freely and without influence. The creators remain anonymous
and yet their works find their way into the public eye: They greet us in the form of graffiti from
the shabbiest high-rise block, lead us in the form of a pop-up to the better-looking pages of the World
Wide Web and, on closer inspection, become visible in the most lapidary everyday objects.
Objects from daily life are still used today to embody one's own environment. Not necessarily soup
cans, but definitely in artistic elevation. A glorification of momentary habits. And thus nothing more
than a reflection of consumer society.
These creations of the prevailing lifestyle appear familiar and surprising at the same time, sometimes
you feel seduced, sometimes pursued - design is everywhere. The same is now true on the floor: Parador
Edition 2 - great design that makes do without big names. Yet it makes use of the immense scope that
everyday life offers us. As decors for laminate floors. As the latest form of individualism. As a witness
to the spirit of the times.
