Packets for each individual flow are kept on a single interface.
NOTE: You can configure per-packet load balancing to optimize VPLS traffic
flows across multiple paths.

Configuring Per-Packet Load Balancing
To configure per-packet load balancing as described in “Overview of Per-Packet Load
Balancing” on page 142, include the load-balance per-packet statement either as an option
of the route-filter statement at the [edit policy-options policy-statement policy-name term
term-name from] hierarchy level:
[edit policy-options policy-statement policy-name term term-name from]
route-filter destination-prefix match-type {
load-balance per-packet;
}
or at the [edit policy-options policy-statement policy-name term term-name then] hierarchy
level:
[edit policy-options policy-statement policy-name term term-name then]
load-balance per-packet;
To complete the configuration you must apply the routing policy to routes exported from
the routing table to the forwarding table, by including the policy name in the list specified
by the export statement:
export [ policy-names ];
You can include this statement at the following hierarchy levels:
• [edit routing-options forwarding-table]
• [edit routing-instances routing-instance-name routing-options forwarding-table]
• [edit logical-systems logical-system-name routing-options forwarding-table]
• [edit logical-systems logical-system-name routing-instances routing-instance-name
routing-options forwarding-table]
