Transom windows have replaced what were probably double-hung windows
originally. Significant alteratfonand partitioning has ocurred.

SIGNIFICANCE: One of several bill i ardparl orsestablished during the mining
era. This. particular parlor ateredto the socially elite. Later the
structure was known as Percy' by Juneau businessman, Percy
Reynolds., .

DESCRIPTION: l05'x50' 2-story structure, flat roof, irregular-shaped,
low-rising front parapet; ornate cornices under roof overhang; decorative
vertical and horizontal woodwork; drop wood siding; double hung windows.
Commercial storefront on 1st floor; office space on 2nd level.
SIGNIFICANCE: Built by Emery Valentine, early mayor of Juneau and founding
father of the Juneau Fire Department. Property originally purchased by Pierre
Errusard, di scoverer of the Treadwell Mi nes. The structure is 1i sted on the
National Register of Historic Places.
