daily practice and short- and long-term planning.

SCHOOL LEADERSHIP AND STAFF ANNUALLY MONITOR/REFINE ACTION PLAN
• Leadership teams (cabinet, ELT, DCs, CTs) confer
regularly (monthly at a minimum) to review progress
on goals, assess needs, and design ongoing plans.
Interim work takes place through ad hoc meetings,
phone calls or through e-mail.
• Governing bodies (board, advisory council) review
plans and proposals, as well as progress on goals at
regularly scheduled meetings; additional contact is
generally through e-mail and/or conference calls.
• ELT reviews progress on action plan goals at every
meeting—a standing agenda item.
• Assistant directors meet with curriculum teams and
departments during forums and are in communication
formally once a month with frequent informal
communication.
