Unselected zone keys light dim green as backlight. Activated keys light full intensity.
Activate the desired zone key(s) in which to make the announcement. Press the TALK key
and speak clearly and directly into the microphone.
Deactivate the zone keys after the paging is finished.
If all zone keys are inactive when the TALK/ALL key is operated, the system
AUTOMATICALLY accesses ALL zones.
Emergency operation:
The control unit 0012 is used for Emergency PA messages and is always set up to access
ALL zones. Alarms will be muted during Emergency PA messages.
External PA access:
The SPA 1500 system may be connected to an external paging source as a PABX or an
Intercom system. Access to perform PA is controlled in this system as an access number
or similar. The SPA 1500 interface must be preset for any desired zone selection, normally
ALL zones, but in case one of the zones is used for accommodation/sleeping quarters this
may be left out.
