Ultra-Low Refrigerated Circulators
Draining:
The drain plug is located behind the venting grid on the front of
the unit, which can be taken off by removing 4 screws.
Slide a short piece of tube onto the drain port and hold it into a
pail.
Unscrew the drain tap and empty the unit completely.
Tighten the drain tap.
Penetration of ice flakes/water into bath oil
At working temperatures below 0 °C humidity from the
atmosphere may penetrate into bath oil through condensation.
This may subsequently result in the formation of ice flakes,
preventing the pump from proper operation.
For this reason, the bottom of the bath tank provides a groove
sloping down towards the drain tap. Thus water having
penetrated into the bath oil gathers in the groove immediately
behind the drain tap.
Shut down the refrigerated circulator at a bath temperature of +10 °C.
Wait for a while and open the drain tap to drain the water.
