1 st method: Basic fingerings between<br />

note ranges:<br />

2 nd method: Basic fingerings,<br />

diminuendo the top note to as soft a<br />

dynamic as possible.<br />

3 nd method: With the special tuning<br />

key on top notes (except C-sharp)<br />

chalumeau-clarion-altissimo<br />

Purpose: Improve tone, note<br />

flexibility, matching quality of sound<br />

between registers.<br />

Purpose: Range control.<br />

Purpose: Technical practice for<br />

proper top note fingerings and<br />

tuning.<br />
