Computerized Personal Accountant 5. Click the Print button on the toolbar to print the report. Other buttons allow you to export the report in PDF format, scroll through the pages of the report, or find specific information in the report. Export Find Print Next Page Press the DOWN ARROW key to view the entire report. Click the scroll arrows or drag the scroll box to view the entire report. 6. Computerized Personal Accountant Setting Up Sort Codes (Optional) 1. Click on the General Ledger tab. 2. Under Data Entry, select Sort Codes. The CPA— Sort Code Maintenance screen is displayed. 3. Type the name of the Sort Code on the first blank line. You can use up to 50 characters for each sort code. Press TAB or ENTER. 4. Select the Type from the drop-down list. If you select Receipts, you will be allowed to use that sort code only on receipts (4000 account numbers). If you select Expenses, you will be allowed to use that sort code only on expenditures (6000 account numbers). If you select Both, you can use the sort code for both receipts and expenses. 5. Check the Active checkbox, or press TAB or ENTER to activate the sort code. 6. Repeat step 3–5 for each sort code. 7. When you are finished entering the sort codes, click the Save button. 8. Click Close to return to the menu. To make a sort code inactive, click on the check to remove the mark. To delete a sort code, click on the code; then click the Delete button.
