Computerized Personal Accountant Using the CPA Menus Now that you have created a set of books and imported your data, you will learn to navigate through the program. The CPA — General Ledger menu is the menu you will see when you launch the CPA program. You may move to any of the other menus by clicking on the tab with the name of the module you wish to use. If you choose one of the tabs in the back row, that row will move forward and the front row will move to the back. Not all of the tabs are functional. JCPS has purchased modules for the General Ledger, Receipts, and Accounts Payable. Minimize button Data Entry Click once on an item in this menu to open the data entry screen. Exit Click here to exit the program Reports Click once on an item in menu to run a report. Most CPA menus are divided into two sections—Data Entry and Reports. To select an item from a menu, just click once on the name of the item. When you are finished using the program, click the EXIT button located in the top right-hand corner of any menu. On data entry screens, the EXIT button backs you out to a menu. If you need to use another program temporarily, you do not need to exit CPA, click the Minimize button.
