Honoring Our Volunteers<br />

Volunteer Services<br />
The Volunteer Services Department is taking time out to say<br />
“Thank You” to the more than 200 dedicated volunteers<br />
who serve at <strong>St</strong>. Vincent’s Medical Center and <strong>St</strong>. Luke’s<br />
Hospital. <strong>St</strong>. Vincent’s <strong>Health</strong>Care volunteers Give over<br />
60,000 hours of their time and Share their talents that Inspire<br />
those of us who are blessed to work with them.<br />
Throughout the week of April 4, <strong>St</strong>. Vincent’s Medical Center<br />
volunteers were treated to daily treats sponsored and served<br />
by The Foundation, Surgical Services, Food and Nutrition<br />
and Administration. During the week of April 11, <strong>St</strong>. Luke’s<br />
volunteers celebrated with a luncheon at Bucca di Beppo.<br />

These volunteers support more than 50 different departments<br />
throughout our ministry. When an associate from Surgical<br />
Services said, “What would we do without our Volunteers?”<br />
Her team member responded, “Let’s hope we never find<br />
out!” A special note of recognition also goes to the two<br />
Volunteer Coordinators, Phyllis Benitez and Cricket Olafson,<br />
who make certain our volunteers always feel appreciated.<br />
