Delores Lee, CNA<br />
The Eula Givens Award, sponsored by <strong>St</strong>. Vincent’s Foundation,<br />
was established to recognize <strong>St</strong>. Catherine Labouré Manor’s nonmanagement<br />
associates, particularly those front-line associates<br />
who are the backbone <strong>of</strong> the care <strong>St</strong>. Catherine provides.<br />
The award represents the following values:<br />
• Dedicated and untiring service<br />
• A compassionate and nurturing attitude<br />
• Commitment to the Mission <strong>of</strong> <strong>St</strong>. Catherine Labouré Manor<br />
Ten associates were nominated for the award. The three finalists<br />
were Deborah Felix, Educator; Dorothy Chester, LPN, Marian<br />
Hall; and Delores Lee, C.N.A., Lourdes Hall. Ms. Lee was named<br />
the recipient <strong>of</strong> the 2010 award. It was said <strong>of</strong> Ms. Lee, “She displays<br />
a pr<strong>of</strong>essional attitude that reflects her work and her daily<br />
work ethic. Her patients, family members and associates all say it<br />
is a delight to have her on our team. Ms. Lee transports patients<br />
to their appointments in the rain, extreme heat and cold. She will<br />
take the extra effort to assure that her patients are comfortable<br />
and she never complains.”<br />
