Connect External Devices (Exercise Option)<br />

Your <strong>MAC</strong> <strong>5000</strong> system can connect at port 1 with the<br />

following devices:<br />

n GE <strong>Medical</strong> <strong>System</strong>s Information Technologies Series<br />

T2000 or T2400 treadmills,<br />

n SunTech Tango blood pressure device,<br />

n Colin STBP-780 blood pressure device, or<br />

n Ergoline 900/900L integrated blood pressure device.<br />

á Other bicycle ergometers and treadmill models with an<br />

analog port can be connected to the analog output of the<br />

<strong>MAC</strong> <strong>5000</strong>.<br />

á To properly interface to external devices the <strong>MAC</strong> <strong>5000</strong> must<br />

be properly set up (see Chapter 14, “Defining the <strong>System</strong><br />

Setup”) and exercise protocols must be properly defined (see<br />

Chapter 7, “Edit Protocols Options”).<br />

á A TTL QRS trigger signal for external devices can be<br />

connected to the ANA/TTL port.<br />
