Managing Patient Records<br />

NOTE: Enter up to 20 numeric characters. The comma<br />

character ( , ) inserts a pause during dialing. For example, this is<br />

often used after dialing a Ò9Ó preÞx before the rest of the phone<br />

number.<br />

6. Arrow down to the Description Þeld. Using the keyboard, type<br />

in a description for the phone number.<br />

NOTE:<br />

Enter up to 15 alphanumeric characters.<br />

7. To add or change additional phone numbers, arrow up or down<br />

to the appropriate Þelds and enter information as desired.<br />

Use the Left Arrow key to exit.<br />

Print Directory<br />

If you wish to print a list of all patient records currently stored in the directory,<br />

select the PRINT DIRECTORY item in the DIRECTORY.<br />

1. In the DIRECTORY menu, select the PRINT DIRECTORY Þeld.<br />

2. A complete list of the DIRECTORY contents is printed (see<br />

sample printout in Chapter 9).<br />

Use the Left Arrow key to exit.<br />

Delete All Records<br />

NOTE: The below information is for use by IT personnel or<br />

network administrators only.<br />

With Eclipse 850 and Eclipse Plus, it is possible to delete all contents in the<br />

directory.<br />

NOTE:<br />

It is not possible to recover erased records.<br />

1. In the DIRECTORY menu, scroll to and select the DELETE ALL<br />

RECORDS Þeld by pressing the ÒDÓ key.<br />

STOP<br />

2. A message box will appear. Press the ÒOÓ key twice to conÞrm<br />

deletion. To cancel the request, select Cancel.<br />

NOTE: Proceed with caution. Answering Ok to these<br />

questions will permanently erase every record in the Directory.<br />

Use the Left Arrow key to exit.<br />
