7 Managing Patient Records<br />
Once a patientÕs record has been saved, it is possible to reprint, delete and<br />
transmit ECG records, as well as edit patient information. It is also possible to<br />
create Þles for one or more patients prior to acquiring any ECGs.<br />
NOTE: Speed, gain and/or artifact Þlter can be changed prior<br />
to reprinting a record. See ÒPrinting ECG ReportsÓ on pg. 7-4.<br />
Using the DIRECTORY Menu<br />
on/stby<br />
In order to perform any of the functions described above, it is necessary to<br />
access the DIRECTORY menu.<br />
1. Press the On/Standby key to power up to the PREVIEW screen.<br />
2. Press the ÒMÓ key to go to the MAIN MENU.<br />

3. Press the ÒDÓ key to go to the DIRECTORY menu<br />
(see Figure 7-1).<br />

4. To view patient records, scroll to and select the VIEW BY<br />
NAME or VIEW BY ID Þeld by pressing either the ÒNÓ key or<br />
the ÒIÓ key (on the Eclipse Plus, select VIEW DIRECTORY).<br />
5. A list of all records stored in the directory is displayed.<br />
