ConÞguring the USER SETUP Menus<br />
Paper Type ASSURANCE 50<br />
STANDARD<br />
Sets print head resistance according to paper type selected.<br />

BRIEF<br />
FULL<br />
Selects the format of the ECG analysis statements. Selecting BRIEF<br />
will result in short, concise analysis statements with minimal<br />
explanations, presented in mixed case nomenclature for ease of<br />
reading (for example, “Normal ECG”). Selecting FULL results in<br />
lengthier analysis statements—presented in upper case<br />
nomenclature (for example, “NORMAL ECG”)— and reason<br />
statements, which precede the analysis statements.<br />
ON<br />
OFF<br />
Determines whether a password is required to access the USER<br />
SETUP menus and the SYSTEM SETUP menu. The password is set<br />
in the MISCELLANEOUS menu (see “Password” on pg. 4-12).<br />
NOTE: If the password is set to OFF in SYSTEM SETUP, the<br />
password field will not appear in the MISCELLANEOUS menu.<br />
Verify calendar & clock settings<br />

To verify the date and time, press the On/Standby key to put the unit in<br />
Standby mode. Then press the On/Standby key again to turn the unit on.<br />
Check the date and time on the POWER-UP screen.<br />
Configuring the USER SETUP Menus<br />
There are 7 USER SETUP menus. Use these to format printouts and reports;<br />
customize lead groups; customize demographic information in the EDIT ID<br />
menu and on printouts; set default values for Recorder Speed, Gain and<br />
Frequency Response; get Custom Header information (Eclipse w/SCP-ECG<br />
capability only); and conÞgure miscellaneous settings.<br />
All USER SETUP settings can be customized for both User 1 and User 2 (for<br />
more information, see ÒUser 1-2 SelectÓ on pg. 4-2).<br />
NOTE: Default settings for Eclipse 850 and Eclipse Plus are<br />
given on pages 9-3 and 9-4.<br />
